1. Design and Conceptualization
Design Creation: Designers create sketches or digital mockups of the jacket, including details like color schemes, materials, and placement of logos, stripes, or patches.
Material Selection: Fabrics (e.g., wool, polyester, or leather for the body) and lining materials (e.g., satin or polyester) are chosen. Ribbed materials (e.g., cotton or acrylic) are selected for the cuffs, collar, and hem.
Customization Planning: Decisions are made about embroidery, patches, or screen printing for team logos, player names, or numbers.
2. Pattern Making
Pattern Creation: Patterns for each part of the jacket (body, sleeves, cuffs, collar, etc.) are created based on the design.
Grading: Patterns are adjusted for different sizes (e.g., S, M, L, XL).
3. Cutting
Fabric Cutting: The selected fabrics are cut according to the patterns using manual cutting tools or automated machines.
Precision: Care is taken to ensure accuracy and minimize fabric waste.
4. Sewing and Assembly
Body Construction: The main body of the jacket is sewn together, including attaching the sleeves.
Ribbing Attachment: Ribbed cuffs, collar, and hem are attached to the jacket.
Lining Installation: The lining is sewn into the jacket, providing a smooth interior finish.
Pocket and Zipper/Button Addition: Pockets, zippers, or buttons are added as per the design.
5. Customization
Embroidery: Team logos, player names, or numbers are embroidered onto the jacket using specialized embroidery machines.
Patches: Custom patches are sewn or heat-pressed onto the jacket.
Screen Printing: Additional designs or text may be screen-printed onto the fabric.
6. Quality Control
Inspection: Each jacket is inspected for defects, such as stitching errors, fabric flaws, or incorrect customization.
Fit and Finish: The jacket is checked for proper fit, alignment of patterns, and overall quality.
7. Packaging
Folding and Packing: The jacket is folded neatly and packed in protective packaging.
Labeling: Tags, care instructions, and branding labels are attached.
8. Distribution
Shipping: The finished jackets are shipped to retailers, schools, teams, or directly to customers.
